With explanation : The original version - Sayed Darwish ( أنا هويت ( سيد درويش

Sung by the man himself , The father of modern Arabic music Sheikh Sayed Darwish. from the great Egypt. (pronounced Sayyed Darweesh) -
It says:

Nothing is like this..
Not even in dreams..
Me and my beloved..
he repeats it over and over ..and over and over.. then some more... then again!
that is the old tarab style where you need to take time to raise your tarab level , tarab means being totally consumed in the music in a state of bliss! you start resonating and go into a tarab high! that takes time
so he goes:

I love him even when we are not talking
and it is a sin that he would be away from me, people!

This he repeats again and again and over again...
he uses 'him' to refer to his lover and that is the way Arabs still do it , males can sing to a male meaning a female (or so we are lead to think ;)
the reason most probably is because it is a conservative and femalephobic society . (and most are secretly gay ;)

There is another part of the song (in other versions i posted) and it contains the name of the song : Ana Hawit
it says
انا هويت
وانتهيت
وليه بقى
لوم العزول

the last word 3azoul is misspelled here because my keyboard doesnt have the letter thal so i am using zein)

the translation:
I fell in love
and i am finished
so why the blame
of the 3azoul?

3: represents the letter ع which is like an 'A' that comes from the throat , like when you pretend you are driving a car :)
This 3azoul is a character that is found constantly in Arabic songs, this is a person who blames the lovers and doesnt want their love to thrive, they pretend they are friends sometimes but they only blame and talk and say bad things and even lie in certain cases, sometimes it is 3awazel: that is the plural of 3azoul, they do really bad things like tell bad things about you to your lover and cause problems, apparently their final goal is to make sure your love is destroyed, only then will they be happy !! :)
In wedding songs the 3awazel are mentioned frequently and told to die of their jealousy or simmer in their envy and go away for now they can no longer play their games now that the lovers are wed!
